Jason Craft is the Hickman County Sheriff, on the ballot in the Aug. 6, 2026 general election; local reporting in February 2026 indicated he could run unopposed 1.
Career
Craft was named the Hickman County Times' 2025 Person of the Year 2. Under his tenure the sheriff's office has added a K-9 unit 3, hired its first animal control officer 4, and pursued community-policing initiatives described as aimed at strengthening public trust 5.
