Certified North Carolina State Board of Elections results confirm the 219-vote figure and show Liverman placed second of four candidates; Jana Liverman Rawls won the seat outright with 266 votes. Tyrrell County Board of Education is a nonpartisan office decided in a single round on the March ballot, so there is no November 2026 contest for this seat and Liverman will not appear on a future ballot for it 3.
