{"biography":"## Current office and 2026 campaign\nSammy Dale McNeill is a candidate for the Moore County Board of Education, District III, in the November 2026 general election. McNeill resides in Robbins, NC, and filed his candidacy on December 18, 2025.\n\n## Career\nMcNeill served as Chief of the Moore County Schools Police Department, one of only a handful of school district police forces in North Carolina. He was largely responsible for a number of security improvements at schools and credited with achieving a 27 percent decline in school crime during the department's early years.
