Background and education

A roughly 20-year Williamson County resident, Clements earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master's degree in education from Vanderbilt University; she has more than a decade of teaching experience in the Nashville and Franklin areas 3.

Community involvement

She helped create Keep Williamson County Livable, a group formed to advocate for responsible growth and fiscal integrity in the county 3.

Family

Clements and her husband, Runcie, moved to the Temple Hills area of Williamson County to raise their four children 3.
