Jeremy Hobbs is the incumbent Republican Wilson County Commissioner for District 13, running for reelection on the August 6, 2026 general-election ballot 12. He faces Democrat Geordan Komos and independent Luke Mires 2. Hobbs's candidate announcement reads, "My name is Jeremy Hobbs and I'm seeking your vote for District 13 County Commissioner" 3.
Background and education
Hobbs was raised in southern Wilson County on South Mt. Juliet Road, where his grandparents owned the Litsey Farm, and attended Gladeville Elementary School, Mt. Juliet Junior High School, and Mt. Juliet High School 3.
Career
Hobbs has worked for the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency since 1997, when he joined as a volunteer; he moved to full-time shift work in 2000, was promoted to lieutenant in 2004, became A-shift commander in 2014, and was named Chief of Fire in 2016, overseeing the department's Fire, Rescue and Special Operations division 4. He holds certifications as an Advanced EMT, firefighter, rescue diver, swift-water technician, and hazardous-materials technician, is an instructor in fire and vehicle extrication, and serves on a newly established Middle Tennessee incident-management team 4.

Hobbs was first elected to the District 13 seat in 2022, defeating Aaron Shane 388-263 in that year's Republican primary 5.
