Scott Cass is an independent candidate for the McMinn County Commission, District 4, on the August 6, 2026 county general-election ballot. He is the incumbent. District 4 elects two commissioners, and this is the only contested commission race in the county in 2026: four candidates are running for the two seats - Cass and fellow independent Willis S. Stewart, and Republicans Tony Allman and Kim Bivens.12

Office history

Cass currently serves as one of District 4's two members of the McMinn County Commission and is listed among the sitting commissioners on the county's official roster. He is recorded participating in commission business, including making and seconding motions, in county commission meeting minutes.2
