Driscoll "Cole" Augustine is an independent candidate for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board, District 7, in the Aug. 6, 2026 election, in a race that also includes Republican Chris Trawinski, Democrat Duana Hall, and independent Hunter Stapp 12.

Background and career

Augustine is an Army veteran, physician, and educator who grew up in central Illinois and joined the Army National Guard in 2001 at age 17, serving as a mechanic 1. He works for Vanderbilt Medical Group supporting community health and provides sports-medicine coverage for the Red River Spartans and Kirkwood High School football 1. He is a lifetime member of the VFW and the Sons of the American Revolution and a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine 1.

Family

Augustine's wife, Nida, is a medical director with Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital, and their three children attend Kirkwood Elementary School 1.
