Dansie's campaign, which he titled "Courage Over Socialism," was organized around priorities including strengthening families, law and order, reducing pharmaceutical dependency in mental health treatment, ending welfare dependency, dismantling federal bureaucracy by returning power to states, and protecting children from ideology in schools. Dansie grew up in Utah. He served in the United States Army in Army intelligence before pursuing a civilian career.
