Mike Reeves is the incumbent Fayette County Commissioner for District 6, Position 1, and a Republican candidate for re-election in 2026 3. He won a contested three-candidate May 5, 2026 Republican primary with a plurality, taking 155 of 353 votes (43.91%), ahead of Abby E. Odom (36.54%) and Joseph Gentry (19.55%) 2. No Democratic candidate qualified for the race, leaving Reeves unopposed for the August 6, 2026 Fayette County general election 2. (Reeves is a different person from fellow Fayette County Commissioner Steve R. Reeves, who holds the separate District 6, Position 2 seat and was also renominated in the May 2026 Republican primary 2.)
