Timothy John Reeder

Timothy John Reeder is the incumbent Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for District 9 and is on the ballot for re‑election in the November 3, 2026 general election ¹³. He began his first term on January 1, 2023 and was re‑elected in 2024, serving as House Deputy Majority Whip for the 2025‑2026 session ¹⁰. Reeder’s public positions include opposition to abortion after twelve weeks, support for limiting transgender health‑care for minors, and advocacy for law‑enforcement presence in hospital emergency departments to protect health‑care workers ¹². He has been endorsed by the National Rifle Association and other conservative groups, and he is active in community organizations such as the Crossroads Community Center homeless shelter and St. Gabriel Church ¹⁴.
