He played a pivotal role in founding the MidSouth LGBT Chamber of Commerce, an organization aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and economic empowerment for LGBTQ+ individuals and businesses in the region. Austin also served as a founding board director of the National LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance. Through this organization, he continues to work to advocate for the rights and interests of LGBTQ+ individuals within the real estate industry.
