Gregg Huddlestone is the Republican incumbent Washington County Board of Education member for District 3, running for reelection in the Aug. 6, 2026 general election 1.
Background and education
Huddlestone earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Wittenberg University, a master's degree in counseling from the University of South Florida, and K-6 teaching certification from Florida Atlantic University 1.
Career
Huddlestone retired after 43 years as a teacher, most of them as a kindergarten teacher, and was twice named Teacher of the Year 1. He currently reads to pre-K children at Mountain View Baptist Church and to students at Woodland Elementary in Johnson City, tutors students in grades 5–8 in math, and serves on the board of the Washington County Retired Teachers Association 1.
