Background and education
A Bedford County native, Davis is a Certified Public Administrator through the University of Tennessee and has completed the state's Local Government Leadership Program 1.
Career
Davis has served as Bedford County Trustee since 2010 1. She was 2020 president of the Tennessee Trustees Association, serves as fourth vice president of the County Officials Association of Tennessee, and is a member of the Tennessee Association of Property Tax Professionals 1.
Legislative record and accomplishments
Davis was named Tennessee's 2020 Outstanding Trustee of the Year and has received the 2013 Governor's Volunteer Star Award and the 2016 Bedford County Good Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America 1. In community roles she is a past president of the Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and of United Way of Bedford County, a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, and a board member of the Shelbyville-Bedford County Senior Citizens Center 1.
Family
Davis is married to Michael Davis, a lieutenant with the Shelbyville Police Department; they have two children and eight grandchildren and attend Calvary Baptist Church 1.
