Current office and 2026 campaign

Joshua Beal is the incumbent Montgomery County Commissioner for District 14 and is running for re-election as an independent in the Aug. 6, 2026 election, facing Democrat Adrian Dailey 12. District 14 includes the Trenton Road, Needmore Road, and West Dunbar Cave Road areas of St. Bethlehem 1.

Background and education

Beal graduated with honors from Kenwood High School and holds an associate degree in business and a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance 1. He earned the Certified Public Administrator designation from the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service 1.

Office history

Beal serves on the county Personnel Advisory Committee and EMS Committee, chairs the Beer Board, and is vice chair of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Action Agency 1. He has been voted "Favorite Elected Official" by readers of The Leaf-Chronicle and Main Street Clarksville 1.
