Angela Evans Wynn is a Democratic candidate for Tennessee State Senate District 13 in the 2026 election. The district covers Murfreesboro and portions of Rutherford County.
Background and education
Wynn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Howard University and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix.
Career
Wynn serves as Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations at Tennessee State University. She previously served as Senior Director of Giving at YWCA Nashville and Middle Tennessee, and held roles at Worxbee rising to Chief Operating Officer.
Wynn served as President of the Junior Board committee of the YWCA of Nashville and Middle Tennessee, and on the Marketing and Development committees of the Nashville Zoo. She is the founding editor of Wynning Motherhood, a blog for mothers.
Family
Wynn is the mother of five children.
