Cindy Hestla is the Republican commissioner for District 6 on the Maury County Commission and is seeking re-election on the August 6, 2026 county general ballot 12. She has represented District 6 since 2022 2.
Office history
Hestla serves on the county's Safety Committee 2, and on May 27 she was elected vice-chair and secretary of the Maury County Ethics Committee 3. During adoption of the county's 2024-2025 budget, she proposed adding $400,056 to fund six new full-time Maury County firefighters, an amendment tied to recovery from a May tornado; it passed on a 12-9 vote 4.
