Denton, of Hixson, is a Democratic candidate for Tennessee House of Representatives District 26, which covers part of Hamilton County from Sale Creek through Middle Valley, Lakesite and Harrison. He qualified for the August 6, 2026 Democratic primary alongside fellow Democrat Lucian LaFae, with the winner set to face Republican incumbent Greg Martin in the general election ¹².
