Jennifer Fox Holt is a Republican incumbent commissioner for District 4 of the Grainger County Commission, which elects three members, and is seeking re-election on the August 6, 2026 county general ballot.12 She was the top vote-getter in the District 4 Republican primary in May 2026 with 410 votes.1
Background and education
Holt is a lifelong resident of the 4th District, spending her childhood in Washburn and graduating from Washburn High School. She has lived her adult life on her family's farm in Thorn Hill.3
Career
Holt has worked as a registered nurse for nearly 25 years and completed a master's degree in nursing education in 2016. She teaches nursing students at a local-area university and works on an as-needed basis at a local hospital.3
Legislative record and accomplishments
As a commissioner and Thorn Hill resident, Holt worked with Jimmy Langley, the retired general manager of the Luttrell-Blaine-Corryton Utility District, on a project to bring clean-water infrastructure improvements to the Thorn Hill community; the county commission has advanced a related grant application.34
