Legislative record and accomplishments

At an April 2026 commission meeting, Orick voted against adding a litigation tax measure to the agenda 2. At the same meeting, he proposed adding Open Arms food pantry to the county's list of nonprofit organizations receiving funding in the 2026–2027 budget, citing funds remaining in the current fiscal year 2.
