Office history

Current office and 2026 campaign

Sabra Beauchamp is the Republican Anderson County Commissioner representing District 7, seeking reelection in the county general election on August 6, 2026 12.

Legislative record and accomplishments

Beauchamp sits on the Commission's Budget Committee. Discussing the county jail's role as a de facto mental-health facility, she said the county doesn't "have a lot of areas to send" people experiencing mental health crises, and that when someone is sent out for treatment, "they keep them for a few days and send them back" — calling it "a revolving door." Her comments came as the commission moved to seek a dedicated mental-health-facility resolution from the Tennessee General Assembly 3.
