The genocidal assault on the Palestinian people in Gaza is being armed and supported by Democratic and Republican leaders alike. My campaign has been in the streets with millions demanding a ceasefire an end to U.S. arming of Israel and a "Free Palestine!"
Today, we are experiencing many crises - climate catastrophe, massive job losses, homelessness, huge health costs, threat of war against China - and more. The capitalist-controlled government has no answers to these crises, and instead acts a servant of the capitalist corporations.
The working class is the vast majority. We, not the billionaires, make society run - without us nothing moves. Yet we are unrepresented - there are virtually no workers in government at any level. The majority of people are also living paycheck to paycheck, and the cost of everything has skyrocketed. The five richest men in the U.S. have as much wealth as the bottom 50% - 170 million people. They didn't "earn" that wealth, they stole it! Capitalism cannot be reformed. It is a system driven by maximizing profit regardless of cost to humanity. It promotes racism, sexism, homophobia and Islamophobia to keep us divided.
We need a new system. a socialist system, where the working class holds power and uses it to meet the needs of the people in a sustainable way.
My campaign is part of the growing movement for real change. Join us! Vote YES on Prop 6 – end prison slavery in California! Register and vote Peace and Freedom Party! Vote Socialist 2024!
