Robert Atkinson is an independent candidate for Hickman County Mayor in the August 6, 2026 county general election 1. He is one of four candidates on the mayoral ballot 1. Atkinson chose to skip the party primary and file directly as an independent for the general election 2.
Office history
Atkinson previously served as Hickman County's building commissioner (building inspector). He was succeeded in that role by Austin Brown, who was hired effective July 1, 2025 3.
