Calton Blacker is the incumbent Cheatham County commissioner for District 1, which covers the Ashland City area, and is one of two Republican nominees on the August 6, 2026 county-general ballot for the district's two seats, alongside David Anderson. District 1 is a "Vote For TWO" contest 12.

Blacker was among the candidates who filed for the District 1 seat in the Republican primary during the 2022 local election cycle and has served on the county commission 32.
