John Anthony Mashburn is a current Tipton County Commissioner for District 3 and is running as a Republican for reelection in the August 6, 2026 Tipton County general election. He was first elected to the seat in 2022 as a challenger alongside incumbent Richard Kelley, defeating Steve Bringle.12
Career
Mashburn is an owner, along with Leann Mashburn, of Scaleman of Tennessee, a Brighton-based business founded in 1985 that sells, installs, rents and services industrial scales — from truck scales to smaller units — across the Mid-South.34
