Katrena Powers Reynolds is an Independent candidate for one of three Campbell County Commission District 5 seats on the August 6, 2026 county general-election ballot, one of six candidates competing for seats none of which are held by the district's current commissioners 12.
Background and education
In October 2024, before entering the race, Reynolds spoke publicly in favor of bringing a Boys and Girls Club location to Campbell County, telling the Mountain Press: "I just see it as a good opportunity for parents to be able to work because single or two-parent homes, two parents working, there's nowhere for them to go." 3
