Samuel McNaron is the Democratic candidate for the Wilson County Commission's District 10 seat, an open seat on the August 6, 2026 general-election ballot 12. The seat became open when incumbent Tyler Chandler, elected in 2022, chose not to seek reelection to focus on his new role as Mt. Juliet's police chief, saying "when you serve, especially as the [Mt. Juliet Police chief], your whole heart needs to be in it" 1. McNaron faces Republican Nathan Bulmon, who ran unopposed in the May 5, 2026 Republican primary, in the general election 12.
