Ryan V. Scofield ran as the Democratic candidate for Tennessee House of Representatives District 29 in the 2024 election, challenging Republican incumbent Greg Vital. District 29 is in the Chattanooga area of Hamilton County.

Career

Scofield serves as Secretary of the Tennessee Democratic Party and as Executive Committeeman for both the Tennessee Democratic Party's 11th district and the Hamilton County Democratic Party's 10th district. He has professional experience in the legal industry and nonprofit work. In 2022, he ran as a Democratic candidate for State Executive Committeeman, District 11.
