Office history
Melton currently serves on the Overton County Commission representing District 1 1. She was among the commissioners who voted in late 2024 to appoint Nathan Dale to the vacant District 1 seat, afterward remarking that the applicants were "three quality candidates" and that "it would have been good with any of the three" 2.
