Brad King was elected to Bartlett’s Alderman Position 1 in November, 2022. Brad, a graduate of Frayser High School, and his wife, Vicky, a graduate of Bartlett High School, have lived in Bartlett 43 years. They are active members of Waypoint Baptist Church in Bartlett where Brad serves as a deacon and the church moderator.
With 33 years of service, Brad is a retired Captain from the City of Memphis Fire Department. As a successful Bartlett business owner for 40 years, Brad is a retired contractor and owns
King James Construction Company, Inc.
Brad and Vicky have two daughters who are both Bartlett High School graduates. Ashley and her husband, Brandon Williams, reside in Bartlett. They have two sons, Hudson and Grant. Nicole and her husband, Lt Col Skylar Rollins, currently live in North Carolina. They have two sons, Braden and Jetson, and a daughter, Sterling.
Brad is Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals and serves on the Family Assistance Commission, the Storm Water Board of Appeals, the Contracts Committee, and the International Code Council. Alderman King was elected by the Board of Aldermen to serve as City Register during his 4 year term.
