Kelly T. Keisling is running as a Republican in the August 6, 2026 primary for Tennessee House of Representatives District 38, which covers Macon, Clay, Pickett, Scott, and a portion of Fentress Counties. He has held the seat since 2010 and has been named State Representative of the Year by the Tennessee House Republican Caucus.
Keisling is the President of Keisling Insurance in Byrdstown, Tennessee. He has represented District 38 in the Tennessee General Assembly since 2010. In the legislature, he chairs the House Insurance and Banking Subcommittee and serves on the House Transportation Committee and the Insurance and Banking Committee. He has worked on economic development initiatives for his rural district, including efforts to have Fentress County removed from the state's list of economically distressed counties.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Children's Center of the Cumberlands and is a member of Etter Baptist Church.
Keisling and his wife Janet have been married for 51 years. They are the parents of three adult children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
