Alderman Biggs was first elected Alderman in September 2017 in Aldermen position 6 and was recently re-elected in August 2022. Jeremy grew up in Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Mayfield, Kentucky. He moved to Shelby County in 1998 and then to Arlington in 2005.
Family Jeremy has been married to his wife Michelle for 18 years and they have two children, Chloe and Jackson. Jackson is a Senior at Arlington High School and Chloe is a Sophomore at the University of Tennessee.
Career Aldermen Biggs worked for Cargill Inc. for 14 years as a Plant Safety Manager and later as a Division Safety Manager. The last 9 years he has worked as a Senior Safety Consultant for a local insurance company.
Civic
Prior to being elected Alderman, Mr. Biggs was an active member of the Arlington Parks and Recreation Committee for six years. After being elected he served on the Design and Review Committee for two years. Currently he is serving back on the Parks and Recreation Committee. He also helped establish and coach Arlington’s first Middle School Cross Country team and was an assistant coach for the Middle School track team.

Jeremy and Michelle have been active members of Hope Presbyterian since 1998.
Education Alderman Biggs graduated from Murray State University in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health.
Hobbies He enjoys running, watching sports, reading historical biographies, and traveling with the family to National Parks throughout the U.S. He also likes the spend time relaxing and fishing at their family cabin that is located on a small lake in Adamsville, TN.
