Career
Maier worked for a decade at Youth Villages before becoming community relations coordinator with Senior Helpers 2. She has applied for an appointed school board seat in the past, including when a seat became vacant upon a resignation 2.
Maier has served on the PTA and PTSO at all school levels for more than 11 years and was PTA president at Crosswind Elementary 2. She participated on Social Studies and Math textbook selection committees and the school system's Rezoning Committee 12. She has also served on the Parks Advisory Board, the Beautification Commission, the Collierville Arts Council, the Collierville Literacy Council, and multiple boards appointed by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen over 15 years 2.
Family
Maier and her husband Eddie have been married for 19 years. They have two sets of twins, all of whom attend Collierville schools 2.
