LaRawn Scaife Rhea is a Republican candidate running for State Executive Committeewoman District 21 in Davidson County, Tennessee [1]. She grew up in Nashville and was raised in the music industry, as her father, Cecil Scaife, promoted the careers of artists such as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Charlie Rich [8]. LaRawn is a graduate of Belmont College with a degree in Marketing and a concentration in Psychology, and she served on the Belmont Alumni Board after graduation [8]. She has worked as a freelance social photographer and journalist, with her work appearing in various magazines [8].

LaRawn Scaife Rhea has held leadership roles in several non-profit organizations, serving on the Executive Boards of the Nashville Symphony League, The Horticultural Society of Middle Tennessee, Historic Belmont Mansion, The Nashville Ballet, and The Animal Welfare Fund [8]. She is credited with conceiving the idea for "The World’s Biggest Baby Shower," an event that led to Oprah Winfrey visiting Fort Campbell to provide a baby shower for over 700 military wives expecting children simultaneously; this event was subsequently aired on The Oprah Winfrey Show [8]. Currently, she serves as the Marketing Director for Chartwell Properties, a real estate development firm in Nashville [8].

She is the sister of the late Joe Carlos Scaife, a Grammy-nominated record producer and engineer known for hits such as "Achy Breaky Heart" and "Redneck Woman" [10].
