Jenny Jordan is the Democratic nominee for Blount County Commission District 5, Seat B, facing Republican incumbent Rick Carver in the Aug. 6, 2026 general election 123. She filed her petition Dec. 30, 2025, the first Democrat to file for a county commission seat in the 2026 cycle, and had no primary opponent 45.
Office history
Jordan previously ran for the same seat in 2022, losing to Carver 603 votes (30.70%) to 1,361 votes (69.30%) 6.
