Legislative record and accomplishments
As Huntsville mayor, Jeffers secured a $50,000 state tourism-enhancement grant to help restore the historic Scott County Jail, an 1904 sandstone building listed on the National Register of Historic Places 3.

Jeffers and his wife, Amy, are members of White Rock Baptist Church in Huntsville, where he serves as a deacon 1.
