Legislative record and accomplishments

Bain voted against the county's 2024 purchase of the former FirstBank building on the Camden court square. In a Facebook post she wrote, "Mayor wants the first bank on the square for him a new office ($480,000 tax payer dollars) here is the voting remember this come election time," accompanied by the roll-call record for Resolution No. 20240819-17, which passed 10-6 4.

Documented disputes and controversies

Bain's Facebook posts opposing the FirstBank purchase drew a public rebuke from fellow Commissioner Keith Arnold at the September 16, 2024 commission meeting, where he said the comments did not show teamwork among the commission 4.
