Randy A. Sharp, of Dayton, is an Independent candidate for Tennessee House of Representatives District 31, which covers Bledsoe, Rhea, Sequatchie and Van Buren counties. He qualified for the November 3, 2026 general election ballot alongside fellow independent Keith Nolan, Democrat Michael Woodlee, and a contested Republican primary field of John B. Bobo, Harold "Bo" McCawley and Andy Swafford, for the seat being vacated by term-limited incumbent Ron Travis 1.
