Current office and 2026 campaign
Stanley Hall is the incumbent Cumberland County Road Superintendent and is running for re-election as an independent in the August 6, 2026 election, facing Republican nominee Kevin Music 12. In February 2026 the Tennessee State Republican Party notified Hall that he was not qualified to run as a Republican in the county primary because he had not voted in the Republican primary in three of the last four elections, failing the party's bona-fide-member requirements; as a result his name did not appear on the Republican primary ballot and he filed to run as an independent in the general election 12.

As Road Superintendent, Hall has recommended additions to the county road list that were approved by the county's regional planning commission and environmental committee 3.
