Current office and 2026 campaign

Christina "Chris" Trawinski is the Republican candidate for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School Board, District 7, in the Aug. 6, 2026 election, in a race that also includes Democrat Duana Hall and independents Cole Augustine and Hunter Stapp 12.

Background and career

Trawinski has lived in Montgomery County for more than 34 years and has over 20 years of classroom teaching experience, teaching grades 2-8 in public, Christian, and Department of Defense schools across four states before retiring in 2015 1. Her experience spans traditional curriculum, STEM, and inclusion instruction 1. After retiring she developed a STEM after-school program for the Nashville Public Library, became a real estate agent, served on the Customs House Museum Guild, and tutored in adult literacy 1. She is secretary of her Rotary Club, has co-chaired Best of Clarksville, and is a Leadership Clarksville graduate (Class of 2020) 1.
