Quderrick Roshawn Covington is a Democratic candidate who ran in the 2026 primary for the North Carolina House of Representatives, District 45, which covers parts of Cumberland County including Hope Mills. He lost the March 3, 2026 Democratic primary to incumbent State Representative Frances Jackson.
