Cecil Hale ran as the Republican candidate for Tennessee House of Representatives District 98, which covers a Memphis area of Shelby County, in 2024. He advanced from the August 2024 Republican primary and then lost to Democratic incumbent Antonio Parkinson in the November 5, 2024 general election. He also ran for U.S. House of Representatives District 9 in 2006.
Background and education
Hale attended Trezevant High School in Memphis and the University of Maryland.
Career
He served in the U.S. Army and subsequently worked in records management for the Department of the Navy.
