Tim Isbel is a Republican candidate for Anderson County Commission District 4 in Tennessee 1. He currently serves as the Commissioner for District 4, having been elected to the position 10. The district he represents includes Lake City Middle, Rocky Top, Briceville, Clinton Middle, and Rosedale 9.

Isbel has a history of political service dating back to at least 2016. He was a Republican candidate for Tennessee House of Representatives District 33 in 2016 but was removed from the ballot before the primary election 1. In his current role, Isbel is an active member of several Anderson County Commission committees. For the 2025-2026 fiscal year, he serves on the committee established by the 1981 Financial Management Act (standing committee), the standing committee established in 2003 by resolution, the standing committee established by resolution with rules of procedure regulating membership, and the standing committee established by T.C.A. 67-5-2507 10.

As a commissioner, Isbel participates in county governance decisions. In July 2020, Anderson County commissioners debated funding for Independence Day fireworks during the COVID-19 pandemic, with potential costs ranging between $12,000 and $20,000; the county ultimately hosted the display at Anderson County High School 19.
