Kenneth "Kenny" Huffine is the Washington County Commissioner for District 13, serving his second term 1. He is the Republican candidate on the ballot for the seat in Washington County's August 6, 2026 county general election, opposed by Democrat Cynthia "Cindy" Humphrey 13.
Huffine is a native of Washington County; his family settled the area near what is now Huffine Road 1. He graduated from David Crockett High School and earned a B.A. in marketing from East Tennessee State University 1.
Huffine retired after 40 years in the consumer packaged goods industry, including his final 20 years with Coca-Cola 1. During his career he served as Southeast regional vice president of sales for Ocean Spray, regional sales manager for Tropicana, and national account manager for Quaker Beverage 1.
Huffine serves on the Washington County Commission's Agriculture Extension, Animal Control Board, BrightRidge Board, Regional Planning, and Tri-Cities Airport Authority committees, and chairs the Communications Task Force and Purchasing committees while serving as vice chair of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture 12. He also volunteers with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) 1.
