Mike Gill represents District 8 on the Tipton County Board of Education and is the Republican Party nominee for the District 8 seat in the August 6, 2026 Tipton County general election.12 The Tipton County Election Commission held a public hearing on March 5, 2026 to determine Gill's legal residence for candidacy purposes, after a challenge was filed by Farrel Vincent.3
