Frankie Mullins is a sitting Pickett County commissioner for District 3 and is seeking re-election on the August 6, 2026 county general ballot as a Republican 12. District 3 elects three commissioners; the 2026 race is contested, with four candidates running for the three seats: incumbents Mullins and Larry W. Beaty (both Republicans) and independents Josh Beaty and Brandon Poore 1.

Office history

Mullins was elected to the District 3 seat without opposition in the 2022 county general election, alongside Larry W. Beaty and Chris Abbott 3. Abbott, one of the three 2022 incumbents, is not on the 2026 ballot for the district 13.
