Robert "Rob" Blevins III is the incumbent Jefferson County Commissioner for District 6, running for re-election as an independent candidate in the August 6, 2026 county general election, which fills two District 6 seats.12
Office history
Blevins represents District 6 on the Jefferson County Commission.23 In 2024, he co-authored a published op-ed with fellow commissioners opposing a proposed increase in the county wheel tax from $25 to $50, arguing that the measure had advanced without proper public notice on the meeting agenda and was unnecessary in light of recent property-tax increases.4
