Zach Farrar is a Republican candidate running for Tennessee State Executive Committeeman District 5 in Anderson County during the August 6, 2026 primary election [1]. He is an attorney by profession and holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Tennessee as well as a law degree from the University of Memphis [9]. Farrar resides in Anderson County with his wife, Mollie Bostic Farrar, and their twin daughters, Macye Jane and Bertie [9].

Prior to this campaign, Farrar served as the Juvenile Judge for Anderson County [9]. In that role, he focused on issues concerning children coming before the court, pledging to rehabilitate delinquent youth through programs emphasizing compassion where possible and discipline when necessary [9]. He also promised to provide judicial procedures that ensure fair and impartial hearings with respect and dignity for all parties involved [9].

Farrar has been active in local community events in Anderson County. In 2015, he served as the emcee for a barbecue and roast honoring Bear Stephenson, which benefited the Boys & Girls Club of North Anderson County [6]. He has also participated in local civic duties, such as speaking at Anderson Countyโ€™s Ninth Annual Memorial Day ceremony alongside other local officials to pay tribute to military personnel [10].
