Current office and 2026 campaign

Adrienne Waters Ogle is the Republican candidate for Circuit Court Judge, Part V, in Tennessee's Fourth Judicial District (unexpired term), covering Cocke, Grainger, Jefferson, and Sevier counties 12. She was the only candidate to qualify in the May 5, 2026 Republican primary for the seat 4.

Background and education

Ogle earned her law degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville College of Law in 2008 1.

Career

Before joining the bench, Ogle was a partner at the Green, Waters Ogle & McCarter law firm (2014-2024), a magistrate for Sevier County Juvenile Court (2014-2024), and city attorney for the City of Gatlinburg (2023-2024) 1. In 2024, Governor Bill Lee appointed her to a newly created fifth judgeship in the district, making her the first woman to serve as a circuit court judge in the Fourth Judicial District 23.
