Alan Glenn Turner is the Tipton County Commissioner for District 5 and serves on the county commission's Finance Committee1. He is the Republican Party nominee for reelection to one of District 5's two seats in the August 6, 2026 general election, running alongside fellow nominee Randy M. Roe. District 5 elects two commissioners; with only Turner and Roe running in the May 5, 2026 Republican primary for the two open seats, both advanced to the general election ballot (Turner received 261 votes to Roe's 201) 23.
