Larry L. Green is a Republican nominee for one of two DeKalb County Commission seats in District 5 in the August 6, 2026 general election, running with fellow Republican Judith Hale and independents Jerry Adcock and Steven Cantrell 1. In the contested May 5, 2026 Republican primary — the only contested district primary in the county — Green won nomination with 112 votes; the other incumbent District 5 Republican, Glynn Merriman, was defeated 2.
